Shark
HarmonicNeutralReversalReliability:
A 5-point O-X-A-B-C pattern with an extreme C leg (0.886–1.13 of OX); it often leads into an AB=CD style retracement.
Description
Described by Scott Carney (2011). It uses O-X-A-B-C labels instead of XABCD; C is the primary reaction zone, reaching a 1.13–1.618 extension of XA.
Market psychology
A liquidity sweep at C triggers stops; order flow then reverses quickly afterwards.
How to trade
The reaction at C is often short-lived; many traders transition it into the 5-0 pattern. It needs tight confirmation given its low reliability.
Confirmation
C reaches the 0.886–1.13 OX extension cluster with a clear price reaction at the zone.
